Founded in 2000 and headquartered in Silicon Valley, California, ITRenew decommissions data center hardware before repurposing it into everything from essential components to fully integrated edge and data center systems. ITRenew is now going to set up an Ireland Headquarters and Logistics Center in Drogheda, Co. Louth, with 40 new roles set to be created over the next three years.
The announcement regarding new headquarters for ITRenew has been made due to the rapid increase in demand for asset decommissioning, IT sustainability, value recovery, and data erasure over Europe and Ireland.
ITRenew President, Ali Fenn, said that the organization is already hyped up to mark its presence in Drogheda. This area would provide the skills and resources required to open new financial opportunities for their EU customers and help achieve their sustainability goals speedily. He ended his statement by saying that the opportunities being created by ITRenew are highly skilled including operators, process engineers, and more. The roles will be responsible for component recovery, data sanitization, and appropriate recycling.
Talking about ITRenew, it is a multinational firm that creates circularity models and second lives for some of the most complex and advanced data center technology on the planet.
