Jelastic Enhances Market Presence in India, Partners with Web Hosting Provider Leapswitch

Jelastic, a global company delivering cloud software for hosting providers, enterprises and developers combining “the benefits” of PaaS and CaaS in a single turnkey package, has signed a strategic partnership with web hosting provider Leapswitch from India. Leapswitch is a web hosting infrastructure provider since 2006 with worldwide distributed data centers.

As a result of this collaboration, new and existing Leapswitch customers including Indian developers, startups and companies with IT departments, will be able to move their projects from traditional hosting to the cloud “in order not to compromise on modern DevOps functionality, scaling or flexibility.” They will get access to multilingual and auto-scalable Jelastic PaaS powered by Leapswitch’s web hosting infrastructure.

“The demand for modern PaaS solutions across India keeps growing immensely due to the rapid evolution of IT companies in this area,” said Ruslan Synytsky, CEO of Jelastic. Understanding the need in transformation, LeapSwitch made a step from traditional hosting to the advanced cloud offering to satisfy the requirements of customers. And we are glad that Jelastic platform with all its DevOps-oriented functionality can support these intentions and turn them into reality.”

Container-Based Cloud

Jelastic provides an intuitive UI, a “rich” marketplace with one-click deployment of pre-packaged applications, add-ons, and clustered solutions, application migration with zero code change, automated scaling and other cloud features. Besides, Jelastic provides technical assistance while moving legacy applications from traditional hosting to container-based cloud-native workloads, allowing developers to accelerate application development processes, improve scalability and efficiency of their projects.

Jelastic has a unique pay-for usage-only pricing model and is available as public, private, hybrid and multi-cloud in more than 60 data centers worldwide. The Jelastic platform provides support of Java, PHP, Ruby, Node.js, Python, .NET environments and custom Docker containers.
