JetCool Unveils Self-Contained Liquid Cooling for Dell PowerEdge Servers

JetCool Technologies booth

JetCool Technologies has made a significant announcement at the Dell Technologies World event taking place this week, at the Mandalay Bay Convention Resort in Las Vegas, NV. The company has introduced their self-contained liquid cooling systems called SmartPlate Systems. The company, renowned for its expertise in liquid cooling for data centers and high-performance computing markets, showcased this cutting-edge technology specifically designed for Dell Technologies’ next-generation PowerEdge servers.

These PowerEdge servers are equipped with the latest Intel Xeon Sapphire Rapids and AMD EPYC Genoa chipsets, offering powerful capabilities to meet the demands of a wide range of workloads, from artificial intelligence (AI) to edge computing.

The SmartPlate System solution for the next-generation Dell PowerEdge servers is a pioneering advancement in the field, combining self-contained liquid cooling and advanced thermal technologies. This unique combination would empower users to operate their servers at maximum speed without any downtime.

Bernie Malouin, the Founder and CEO of JetCool Technologies, expressed his pride in collaborating with Dell Technologies on this project and integrating their high-performance liquid cooling solutions into the next-generation Dell PowerEdge servers. He emphasized that this integration allows Dell customers to implement liquid cooling within the familiar air-cooled form factor, enabling them to optimize their server investments while achieving unparalleled compute density and performance.

CPU and GPU Cooling

By maximizing the airflow through the server chassis, the SmartPlate System would effectively reduce temperatures for both central processing units (CPUs) and graphics processing units (GPUs), resulting in improved overall performance. Moreover, this innovative solution would contribute to a significant reduction in power consumption, aligning with the growing emphasis on energy-efficient computing solutions.

One of the standout features of the SmartPlate System is its ability to eliminate the need for additional liquid cooling infrastructure. This streamlined integration would simplify the adoption of liquid cooling for customers who may not have access to water lines or prefer to utilize their existing server facilities. By offering a pre-installed solution on select 1U and 2U Dell PowerEdge servers, JetCool Technologies would ensure a seamless integration process for their clients. Additionally, the SmartPlate System package includes the Dell OpenManage Enterprise Systems (OES) service and warranty programs, further enhancing the overall value proposition.

JetCool Technologies’ introduction of the SmartPlate System marks a significant milestone in the data center cooling industry, according to the company itself. By leveraging the power of self-contained liquid cooling, advanced thermal management, and Dell’s advanced server technology, this innovation would promise to deliver the highest performance, reliability, and energy efficiency for businesses across various sectors.
