Kickstart Europe presents a familiar conference program for an audience of more than 750 professionals from the data center, fiber, and cloud industries on March 14 (Welcome Evening) and March 15 (Conference Day). Industry professionals debate the latest advances in strategy and investments in digital infrastructure at this annual strategy and networking event in the Amsterdam RAI.
The more than 750 guests expected to attend the event will mainly come from the Netherlands, but also from Germany, England, Ireland, France, Belgium, and other countries. There will be people joining from the data center, networking, and cloud sectors, while there will be a special focus during the event on trends related to strategy & digital infrastructure investments.
Data Center Strategy and Investments
Kevin Restivo, CBRE Research Director, will launch the conference on March 15 with a view on the European data center industry.
Following that, a C-level panel will feature Eric Boonstra (VP & GM Iron Mountain), Dick Theunissen (Managing Director EMEA EdgeConnex), Jan-Pieter Anten (Managing Director EMEA Interxion: a Digital Realty Company) and Clinton Hasell (Group Director Europe Global Switch).
With a second morning session titled ‘Investments in European Digital Infra,’ the conference again focuses on investments. Speakers from EXA Infrastructure, APG, Eurofiber, and Equinix will explore investment potential in this area, which will be moderated by NIBC Bank.
The afternoon program includes networking opportunities as well as lively panel discussions on technological advances, investment strategies, and EU market trends. Peter Lambrecht (Vertiv), Jo-Ann Garbutt (Mercury), Jason King (Rovisys), Ralf Ploenes (Legrand), and Alastair Waite (CommScope) are among the speakers.
In addition to Stijn Grove from the Dutch Data Center Association, other European industry associations, such as Denmark (represented by Thomas Volder) and Ireland (represented by Gary Connolly) will be present at Kickstart Europe 2022 as well.
“2022 is a crucial year for the data center, cloud, and connectivity market, as well as the surrounding ecosystem,” said Stijn Grove, initiator of Kickstart Europe. “The global pandemic has made it very clear that our economy depends on digital infrastructure. The ever-growing demand for data processing requires a clear and future-proof strategy. We look forward to discussing these developments with the industry.”
