Kirk Wright Joins Hosting Provider OnRamp as Vice President of Marketing

OnRamp, a hybrid hosting provider with data center facilities in Texas and North Carolina, has named Kirk Wright as Vice President of Marketing. With significant experience driving the market direction of accomplished technology brands such as Saffire, HP, Rackspace, and Dell, Mr. Wright will oversee OnRamp’s demand generation, market positioning, product marketing, and branding.

Kirk Wright has over 15 years of experience in senior executive marketing positions in both SMB and enterprise settings. In this role, Mr. Wright will be responsible for all of OnRamp’s demand generation, market positioning, product marketing, and branding.

Mr. Wright most recently served as Vice President of Marketing and Client Services at Saffire, a SaaS provider aimed at helping events, venues, and destinations build self-managed, interactive websites that include the integrated SaffireTix ticketing platform. Prior to this role, Wright served as Director of Marketing for Hewlett-Packard (HP), helping to launch HP Cloud Services by directing all facets of product marketing, analyst relations, public relations and interactive marketing for their initial public cloud offerings.

In addition to his background from HP, Wright was Director of Marketing at Rackspace leading demand generation, as well as retention and development marketing, and has held several marketing leadership positions with Dell and Intel.
