“Widespread public cloud adoption among eDiscovery software providers has effectively limited the choices available to customers who have unique geographic, security, or other business constraints,” said Christopher Weiler, CEO at KLDiscovery.

With 32 locations, 9 data centers and 17 data recovery labs across 19 countries, KLDiscovery provides technology solutions to help enterprises, law firms, and consumers solve complex data challenges.

The newly launched Nebula Enterprise solution is a plug-and-play extendable device that would offer the power, flexibility, and increased feature set of ‘Nebula’ to clients’ data centers. It addresses a variety of security and compliance concerns.

Nebula Enterprise versions come in a variety of capacities to serve a variety of use cases. Five terabyte units, for example, are appropriate for enterprises or law firms looking for a small-scale, low-maintenance in-house eDiscovery capability, whereas capacities of up to 100 terabytes can make up a complete eDiscovery vendor’s technological stack.

eDiscovery Platform

“Widespread public cloud adoption among eDiscovery software providers has effectively limited the choices available to customers who have unique geographic, security, or other business constraints. Meanwhile, many eDiscovery software providers have made architectural decisions that effectively lock them and their customers into the public cloud,” said Christopher Weiler, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at KLDiscovery. “We believe the market is best served by maximizing flexibility in deployment models for our clients and partners. With Nebula Enterprise, we have chosen to serve those with unique requirements with the same high-performance, cutting-edge, eDiscovery platform available in the cloud, packaged as a high-availability, self-healing appliance.”

KLDiscovery has been providing data collecting and forensic investigation services to customers for over 30 years, as well as early case evaluation, electronic discovery and data processing, application software and data storage for web-based document reviews, and managed document review services. KLDiscovery also provides data recovery, email extraction and restoration, data deletion, as well as tape management through its global Ontrack Data Recovery business.
