Leaseweb, a provider of IaaS hosting and cloud infrastructure services with more than 80,000 servers under management and data center presence globally, has hired Ronald Haasert as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). As of June 1, he started working as Leaseweb’s new global CMO. Mr. Haasert was CMO at Staples before joining Leaseweb.
According to Leaseweb, Ronald Haasert has a distinguished history of driving international digital revolutions in the retail and e-commerce industries. Prior to joining Leaseweb, he served as CMO at Staples, where he helped the company’s European marketing and merchandising organizations achieve double-digit EBITDA growth. Prior to this, he held executive positions in marketing and operations at Dutch retailer Bruna and Bruna.nl.

International Work Experience
Ronald Haasert has more than ten years of experience working abroad in both Europe and the United States, including positions in Boston, Amsterdam, Lisbon, Paris, Milan, and Stuttgart. He received his Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Hertfordshire in the United Kingdom.
Mr. Haasert is currently also a member of the advisory board at Hanze University of Applied Sciences in Groningen, the Netherlands, where he volunteers his time to mentor foreign students and strengthen ties between the institution and the business world.
