A new channel partner program for Managed Service Providers (MSPs) has been launched by Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) hosting provider Leaseweb in the United Kingdom. By March 2024, Leaseweb aims to recruit at least five managed service providers (MSPs) via the new program that would reward strategic growth for MSPs in the UK while enhancing cloud consulting skills.
As an IaaS hosting provider, Leaseweb serves about 20,000 clients globally, ranging in size from SMBs to enterprises. Their offerings include content delivery networks (CDNs), dedicated servers, colocation, public and private clouds, and cybersecurity services, all backed by a global network backbone with a capacity of over 10 Tbps. Founded in 1997, Leaseweb now has over 80,000 servers deployed in its data centers across the globe.
The new channel program for the UK was designed specifically for Managed Service Providers (MSPs). It offers a framework that can be used to establish long-term channel relationships. This framework would make it possible for MSPs to supply their clients with “high-quality cloud services as well as strategic consulting services.”
Terry Storrar, Managing Director of Leaseweb in the United Kingdom, said that the company’s new initiative for MSPs is evidence that the company is fully committed to the importance of strategic partnerships.
“This new program for MSPs demonstrates that we are firmly investing in the value of strategic partnerships,” said Terry Storrar. “We work alongside our channel partners to deliver the services that their business customers are asking for; an essential in a world which demands that IT adapts rapidly to changing business needs. We also understand how excellent customer service and solid consultancy can differentiate one channel partner from another, and MSPs are in a strong position to develop and fine tune these capabilities. Leaseweb is fully committed to this goal through a transparent, adaptable approach.”
Global Network Backbone
The purpose of the new channel program is to enhance the ability of managed service providers in the UK to provide value-added consulting in addition to the supply of managed services. Rather than short term monthly financial targets placed on MSPs, the framework of the channel program would foster strategic company development via tiered incentives and yearly payback schemes.
The new channel program for the UK market would provide extensive assistance, which includes full pre-sales support, technical help around the clock, specialized account managers, and integrated marketing campaigns.
Leaseweb has a 26-year track record supporting its channel partners in the delivery of innovative and connected IT services. The company is using its global network to provide a wide range of hybrid cloud infrastructure services boasting “a competitive price-to-performance ratio” that channel specialists can make available to end customers in the AdTech, MarTech, Gaming, FinTech, and SaaS sectors.
