LeaseWeb Strengthens Its Global Management Team, Hires Svenja de Vos As New CTO to Stimulate Innovation and Growth

LeaseWeb, one of the world’s largest hosting brands with a broad hybrid cloud portfolio has appointed Svenja de Vos as their new Chief Technology Officer (CTO). Svenja de Vos brings more than 20 years of experience in the telecommunications and hosting industry to LeaseWeb. Throughout the years, De Vos held various international positions at major European telecommunications operator, Tele2.

In 2016 ‘Inspiring Fifty’ included Svenja de Vos in their list of the 50 most inspiring business women in the Netherlands. More recently, ‘Management Team’ included her in the “Goudhaantjes-100” list, a list showcasing the best Dutch management talents.

Most recently, Svenja de Vos was based at the Tele2 Group in Sweden, as Director of Transformation – responsible for transforming the business into a more effective and cost-efficient organization. Prior to this, she was the Chief Information Officer (CIO) for Tele2 in the Netherlands.

As of January 1st 2017, Svenja de Vos will be part of the LeaseWeb Global Management Team and be responsible for the product management, product engineering and system administration departments.

This would enable LeaseWeb to easily combine Microsoft technology with their own hosting expertise and global reach to develop and deploy “sophisticated, flexible” hybrid cloud solutions.
