Leaseweb, one of the largest cloud hosting brands in the world with more than 70,000 dedicated servers under management, has announced Leaseweb USA’s sponsoring of the Manassas Airshow. The airshow will be held on May 5, 2018, in the City of Manassas, Virginia.

Just as last year, the LeaseWeb brand has committed itself to this free to attend event with featured performers including the Warrior Aviation Flight Team, the U.S. Air Force Heritage Flight Foundation’s Andrew McKenna, and Scott Francis and the MXS.

The announcement comes on the heels of Leaseweb announcing the sponsoring of another airshow, on Texel island in the Netherlands. As with the Manassas airshow, it’s not the first time Leaseweb is sponsoring this event.

“Aviation is part of Leaseweb’s DNA – long before anyone put clouds and computers in the same sentence,” said Lex Boost, CEO of Leaseweb USA. “We’ve been connecting our customers with a host of cloud solutions for over 20 years. Our founders were commercial airline pilots and we are proud to, once again, sponsor this wonderful event that supports many charities in our local Leaseweb USA community.”

The show in Manassas also offers U.S. Navy F/A-18 flybys, The Bealeton Flying Circus, Clemens Kuhlig of Chef Pitts Airshows, Charlie VandenBossche in the Yak52, Hobby Hangar RC Aircraft, 20 confirmed static displays, and three flight schools.

Local Charities

There is no cost to attend the airshow in Manassas. Cash donations will be accepted at all gates to benefit three local charities: The Freedom Museum, The Virginia Airborne Search & Rescue Squad, and the Civil Air Patrol: Prince William/Manassas Composite Squadron.

Leaseweb’s long-term sponsorship commitment helps ensure that the Manassas Airshow will be entertaining families and giving back to our community for many years to come,” said Kevin Rychlik, Manassas Airshow co-chairman. “We are grateful for their support and look forward to blue skies and an outstanding array of performers this year.”
