Limestone Networks, a Dallas-based provider of cloud, dedicated servers, and colocation services has rolled out its shared cloud instances with local storage.
OnePortal Rapid, the “feature-rich, high-performance” public cloud service by Limestone Networks, would now offer “low-cost, locally-stored” cloud instances among its wide-variety of flavors.
Local storage would be ideal for customers requiring less availability and faster IO for their projects. VMs with local storage are supported by way of RAID 10 redundancy, and any attached volumes will make use of the advanced HA storage cluster. Billing of instances with local storage is based upon consumption.
Limestone Networks was founded 2007 in Dallas, Texas. With its dedicated servers originally stored in the Infomart data center, their company grew quickly. In 2008 they moved to a new data center facility, Databank, which includes multi-layered security, N+1 and 2N redundancy and “premium” bandwidth carriers.
