Liquid Web, a $100 million managed hosting provider, has hired Colin Dowling as VP of Channel Sales and Partner Solutions. Mr. Dowling brings quite some hosting experience to his new role, joining Liquid Web from Media Temple, a GoDaddy company where he served as Vice President of Sales and WP Engine where he held Enterprise and Agency Account roles. Previously, Dowling owned his own semiconductor-distribution and manufacturing business.

Colin Dowling has been hired to develop innovative hosting channel programs – to drive deeper and interactive engagement with the designers and agencies that are key constituents of Liquid Web’s 32,000 customers. In addition, Mr. Dowling will lead the affiliate, reseller and referral partner channels. His addition would demonstrate Liquid Web’s commitment to growing its relationship with ‘the creators and partners’ they serve.
