Liquid Web, a global provider of web hosting and managed cloud hosting services, headquartered in Lansing, Michigan, has launched a brand new managed WordPress web hosting platform at WordCamp US – an event in Philadelphia, PA, taking place this weekend.
The company, which has historically been the home of many clients utilizing WordPress, states that the new product, Liquid Web Managed WordPress, was specifically engineered to optimize hosting environments for customers utilizing the popular content management system (CMS).
“Having an environment optimized for WordPress web hosting has allowed us improve the speed and performance of WordPress websites by an average of 300%, based on load time,” said AJ Morris, a Product Manager at Liquid Web who has been traveling to WordCamp WordPress meet-ups across the U.S. throughout 2015 in order to gauge user needs while Liquid Web worked on engineering the platform. “Having a faster site, free migrations, free SSLs, Heroic Support and top-notch security, is going to excite a lot of WordPress users as they adopt this new web hosting platform.”
Liquid Web‘s initial offering of Managed WordPress web hosting is available in multiple sizes targeted for applications, including: Personal, Professional, Agency, and Enterprise. The entry level, or Personal plan offers 100 GB of SSD storage, unlimited visitors, an SSL and up to 5 websites. Plans increase, proportionally, across Professional, and Agency, applications, until the Enterprise plan, which is completely customizable.

All Managed WordPress web hosting plans include SSL, free migrations, automatic backups, automatic core and plugin updates, WP-CLI, WordPress Multisite, and the option to utilize Liquid Web’s Content Delivery Network (CDN).
“With 25% of the Internet’s websites already relying on WordPress, a number that continues to grow, more designers, developers, and businesses are looking to take advantage of a Managed WordPress solution like this one from Liquid Web,” added Mr. Morris. “We have the noted advantage of 250-plus highly trained experts on-site, answering calls, emails, and live-chats 24/7/365 to deliver our Heroic Support.”
