Huttig Building Products, one of America’s largest wholesale distributors of specialty building products listed at Nasdaq, has selected TierPoint to provide colocation and data center migration support services.
As one of America’s largest wholesale distributors of specialty building products and millwork for residential construction, repair and remodel, and light commercial applications, the St. Louis-based company has experienced rapid growth. To accommodate that growth, Huttig Building Products made the strategic decision to outsource hosting of its primary data center. The move to the TierPoi t colocation data center would allow Huttig to recapture data center space at its corporate headquarters while positioning its IT team to focus on strategic business initiatives.
