Los Angeles-based Cloud Server Provider Infinitely Virtual Expands to the East Coast

Infinitely Virtual, a Los Angeles-based provider of cloud servers, will expand its operations to the East Coast. The Boston-based hosting facility is aimed at small and midsize companies and will open for business before the end of the first quarter.

The new facility, located at 70 Innerbelt Road in Somerville, complements the company’s primary data center in Los Angeles and stands as the latest chapter in the strategic expansion of Infinitely Virtual’s cloud server business. Last year, the company began building out this facility in the Boston area.

Fast growing cloud server business

cloud-servers-infinitely-virtual“We’ve made it our mission to showcase the powerful economic rationale for small and midsize companies to get out of the business of buying and maintaining hardware that is obsolete even before it’s delivered,” said Adam Stern, Infinitely Virtual founder and CEO. “Instead, we’ve created cloud server products and services that ease and expedite the cloud migration process.”

Last fall, the company was named to the Ingram Micro 2013 SMB 500. The list celebrates the top 500 fastest-growing Ingram Micro U.S. channel partners focused on small and midsize businesses. Ranked at number 15, Infinitely Virtual (through its parent, Altay Corp.) grew its cloud server business with Ingram Micro Inc. (NYSE: IM), one of the world’s largest technology distributors, by more than 1144 percent.
