IBM SoftLayer are joining eBay’s Magento Hosting Partner ecosystem – further expanding the company’s global cloud hosting solution options for retailers and brands. This expands the global footprint of Magento’s existing roster of partners delivering cloud solutions, including Microsoft Azure, Rackspace and Peer1.
Through its partnership with IBM SoftLayer, Magento will have additional means to support clients in every major global market.

Magento merchants using the IBM SoftLayer cloud hosting infrastructure will be able to capitalize on IBM’s global network of more than 40 cloud centers to get closer to their customers and end users, while providing the option to keep sensitive data in local facilities.
