Hostway, a managed hosting provider delivering managed cloud infrastructure and application hosting solutions to customers worldwide, has acquired the Toronto-based MyHosting.com and Mail2Web lines of business from Ingram Micro. MyHosting.com and Mail2Web were part of SoftCom, a Canadian provider of domain name management web hosting, and cloud infrastructure services acquired by Ingram Micro in 2013.
Under the terms of the deal, the MyHosting.com brand, customers, and key employees will join Hostway, while Hostway will continue to operate and evolve the MyHosting brand, products, and platform.

Hostway plans to leverage the skillset and experience of the MyHosting.com team members to further bolster its capabilities with Ingram Micro’s CloudBlue Automation platforms and will incorporate the platform more broadly in both its direct and wholesale channels. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
