Managed Hosting Firm Nexcess Launches New Charity Donation Program

Managed hosting provider Nexcess has launched a new charity donation program to support non-profit organizations through its newly launched online store, the Nexcess Swag Shop. The program will see all proceeds go to The Trevor Project, a mental health and suicide prevention organization that caters to LGBTQ+ youth.

Nexcess employees vote quarterly to select a charity to support, with The Trevor Project being the first beneficiary. The Swag Shop was created using StoreBuilder by Nexcess, which is built on WordPress and powered by fully managed WooCommerce hosting. With this technology, users can create a customized store and sell a wide array of products online.

Misty Combs, Director of Human Resources at Nexcess, said that the company is “a diverse and inclusive family of helpful humans” and that they “wanted proceeds to benefit nonprofits because we want to give back to the community and we’re thrilled to be able to support The Trevor Project this quarter.”

Donations to Non-Profit Organizations

This is not the first time that managed hosting provider Nexcess has donated to non-profit organizations. The company previously donated to No Kid Hungry, a program dedicated to ending childhood hunger through school breakfasts, summer meals, and more.

Nexcess has been serving SMBs and the designers, developers, and agencies who create for them for more than 22 years. The company provides a fully managed, high-performance cloud solution built to optimize WordPress, WooCommerce, and Magento sites and stores.

The company is a part of The Liquid Web Family of Brands, which manages 10 global data centers, and serves over 170,000 paying and 2.5 million freemium software customers spanning 150 countries.

Nexcess welcomes guests to browse the store, which offers a variety of items such as t-shirts, sweatshirts, beanies, drinkware, and more. If you want to learn more about The Trevor Project and its mission, visit The Trevor Project.
