Managed Hosting Provider Cartika Announces Microsoft Exchange Cloud Hosting

Cartika, a Canadian provider of managed application hosting and advanced clustering technologies, has announced high-performance, scalable Microsoft Exchange hosting. The cloud-based solution is aimed at businesses and resellers who have grown beyond the levels of support and availability provided by cloud email solutions like Microsoft 365.

Cartika’s Microsoft Exchange cloud hosting solutions for businesses can be hosted in the company’s data centers in the U.S. and Canada, allowing clients to choose their hosting venue and avoid the data sovereignty and regulatory issues associated with many cloud storage and email hosting platforms.

“We saw that email hosting solutions available to business were of radically variable quality and performance,” said Andrew Rouchotas, Cartika CEO. “We set out to create an Exchange hosting platform that businesses can completely rely on, using our clustering expertise to build a redundant, secure, and high-performance email and collaboration solution that gives businesses the confidence they need in their most important communication tool.”

Exchange Hosting Plans

Cartika’s plans include 20GB mailboxes, inbound spam and virus filtering with Microsoft Forefront and outbound spam filtering from SpamExperts, and all-inclusive Exchange module integration, including active sync, shared calendars, and Outlook Web Access. Accounts also include Outlook or Outlook for Mac licenses for each user. Optional Blackberry Enterprise Server support is available for clients who need to synchronize their Blackberry devices.

Exchange hosting accounts from Cartika are fully reseller enabled, so managed hosting service providers can sell white label Exchange accounts to their clients. Reseller support includes comprehensive reselling and billing facilities provided by Cartika’s Hostbill module.

Cartika’s Exchange hosting platform is built on the company’s redundant, scalable infrastructure, with real-time backup and replication of all inboxes, in addition to Bacula4Hosts integration, which allows customers to download PST backups from any of 15 daily restore points.

Founded in Toronto in May 2000, Cartika offers a wide array of infrastructure services, complemented by extensive management solutions and clustering technologies.
