International IT solutions and managed services provider, Logicalis, has acquired Orange Networks, a Microsoft Managed Service Provider from Germany. At the same time Logicalis announced its acquisition of Cilnet, a systems integrator and MSP from Portugal specializing in Cisco-based solutions.
The acquisition of Orange Networks would advance Logicalis Germany to Microsoft Gold Certified Partner status and enhance its hybrid cloud offering. The Orange Networks business is focused on Microsoft cloud and managed services, with Germany wide presence including Hamburg, Munich, Offenbach and Düsseldorf. The Orange Networks brand would be well established in the Azure services marketplace in Germany. Its offerings, combined with Logicalis Germany’s service portfolio are highly complementary according to Logicalis.
Orange Networks was founded in 2004 with its headquarters located in Hamburg. Its approximate revenues are €5 million. With its strategic and technical expertise in Microsoft cloud technologies and innovation, the company supports its customers’ digitization projects by providing a broad offering of consulting services, development, deployment, and managed services across the Microsoft portfolio.

Cisco Technical Expertise
With the acquisition of Cilnet, Logicalis would increase its Cisco technical expertise for the Iberian region and complement the existing Spanish operation with data center, collaboration, networking, infrastructure and managed services capabilities, expanding the offering to the region.
Cilnet is one of the largest Cisco partners in Portugal, as well as a Dell EMC Platinum partner. Its approximate revenues are €20 million. The company has presence in Lisbon, Porto and the Algarve, Portugal. Cilnet was founded in 2000 and has its headquarters in Lisbon. With over 90 employees, including eight Cisco Certified Internetwork Experts (CCIEs), the company designs and integrates networking, data center and contact center solutions. These solutions are complemented with security, managed services and application development skills.
