Media Temple Launches New Managed Cloud Hosting Solution for AWS Customers

Media Temple, a Los Angeles-based provider of web and cloud hosting solutions, has unveiled its new managed cloud hosting services for Amazon Web Services (AWS) customers. Media Temple’s new offering would deliver repeatable SysOps-like services for customers so they can cost-effectively leverage the flexibility and scalability of AWS without having to source these services internally – or externally.

media-temple“Working with cloud pioneer AWS was an obvious choice,” said Brendan Fortune, Product Director, Cloud Solutions. “It allowed us to focus on developing premium cloud architecture and SysAdmin services that were highly successfully put to the test in the pilot program we conducted a few months ago.”

The Media Temple team of cloud experts can also help architect a brand new auto-scaling environment on AWS and/or migrate websites and apps to AWS.

aws-cloud“Our relationship with AWS is a natural extension to Media Temple’s 16 years of expertise architecting and supporting hosting and cloud solutions,” said Brian Kuhn, VP of Product at Media Temple. “Our customers have requested and expect high-performance, cost-optimized managed services. We’re eager to help them unleash the power of the AWS Cloud while focusing on running and scaling their business.”

Media Temple is a member of the AWS Partner Network (APN), a global partner program focused on helping partners build a successful AWS-based business by providing business, technical, marketing, and go-to-market support. To achieve Advanced Technology Partner status, companies must meet stringent requirements and pass an AWS technical review. Media Temple achieved Advanced Technology Partner status before its solution had been officially launched.
