U.S. data center and interconnection solutions provider, CoreSite Realty Corporation (NYSE:COR), has announced the availability of direct, private connectivity into Microsoft Azure via ExpressRoute from CoreSite’s New York colocation data center campus.
CoreSite customers in New York may now connect directly to Microsoft Azure via the CoreSite Open Cloud Exchange – which provides private/dedicated, security-enhanced virtual connections and on-demand provisioning.
Microsoft Azure ExpressRoute connectivity is now available in two of CoreSite’s markets, including the deployment of Azure ExpressRoute in CoreSite’s Los Angeles data center campus in 2015.
With direct connectivity to Microsoft Azure via ExpressRoute, CoreSite customers in New York and Los Angeles would be able to establish secured, high-performance connectivity to Microsoft Azure over a reliable enterprise-grade network. Microsoft Azure is a growing collection of integrated cloud services, including analytics, computing, database, mobile, networking, storage and web.

CoreSite‘s network-dense, cloud-enabled New York data center campus consists of its Manhattan (NY1) and Secaucus, New Jersey (NY2) data centers. The presence of over 45 carriers would enable interconnection, network resiliency and low-latency metro connectivity.
