Just one day after Microsoft Corporation CEO Satya Nadella announced the U.S. general availability of Microsoft Azure Government and the upcoming availability of Dynamics CRM Online for Government, Microsoft elite partner Planet Technologies – a provider of Microsoft consulting services to the public sector – has announced the launch of GovCloud.com.
The site, GovCloud.com, features a suite of cloud hosting service offerings geared toward the government sector that maps directly to Microsoft’s Azure and Office 365 government platform.
“Planet has been driving Microsoft cloud solutions for hundreds of government organizations across the United States for some time, and the new government Azure platform enables us to expand into several new areas for our clients,” said Scott Tucker, CEO of Planet Technologies. “We continue to be in lock-step with Microsoft’s cloud services strategy with the launch of GovCloud.com.”
