We were delighted to welcome Jon ‘Maddog’ Hall, Executive Director of Linux International to the Manchester Linux, Openstack and Ceph User Group at the UKFast Campus earlier this year.
Maddog provided an insight into his early career as a programmer using FORTRAN and assembly language. Maddog then goes on to share his views on why we’ll always need better performance in computers and shares plenty of anecdotes along the way.
