We were delighted to welcome Jon ‘Maddog’ Hall, Executive Director of Linux International to the Manchester Linux, Openstack and Ceph User Group at the UKFast Campus earlier this year.
In Part 2 Maddog looks at High School and College students today and addresses the “dumbing down” of younger generations as commercial computing has become simplified.
Maddog also looks at popular home development kits and explores how they may be used to create affordable, environmentally friendly supercomputers for students and developing nations.
