Database-as-a-Service (DBaaS) provider MongoHQ has partnered with cloud hosting provider DigitalOcean to enable developers who want to host their data with DigitalOcean. The combined platfporms of the two companies will give developers more freedom to focus on creating applications, rather than managing infrastructure.
MongoHQ’s partnership would enable developers who want to host their data with DigitalOcean to derive the full benefits of MongoDB, without the complications of spinning up a new server, or the concerns of time, resources and risk associated with leveraging a new database. MongoHQ already has partnerships with SoftLayer and AWS.
