Cloudreach, a multi-cloud services firm focusing on public cloud application development and cloud migration with strong partnerships with AWS, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform, has been acquired by Atos. Atos gains approximately 600 highly trained cloud experts as part of this purchase, bolstering its worldwide cloud capabilities.
Cloudreach would deliver deep cloud-native knowledge and strong worldwide collaborations with AWS, GCP, and Microsoft Azure, including the recently signed AWS Strategic Collaboration Agreement and the designation of Cloudreach as UKI’s AWS Consulting Partner of the Year for 2021. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
Atos will also boost its cloud innovation and automation with Cloudamize, cloud planning and evaluation software that adds additional cloud migration capabilities to its Atos OneCloud practice. Atos OneCloud is an end-to-end collection of services that combines cloud advisory counsel, application transformation experience, prebuilt cloud accelerators, and new skills to help clients traverse their cloud journey securely and quickly.

Through this acquisition, as well as those of Syntel, Maven Wave, Edifixio, and, most recently, VisualBI and AppCentrica, Atos’ strategic vision of cloud as the cornerstone of business transformation would be reinforced.
