Last year Naomi won the title of under 18s girls’ champion. Since then she has gone from strength to strength, so much so that she is being carefully watched by her competitors in the higher echelons of the women’s international tennis scene. In the first in this series of interviews Naomi Broady discusses her inspirations and what makes her tick, her origins and how she came to love tennis so much, her experiences with school and how this has affected her development, the pressure of just being sporting men and women in the modern media age, and, of course, her plans for the future.
