NetFoundry Deploys SDN-based Interconnection Services in Edge Data Centers

By collaborating with application-specific connectivity enablers like NetFoundry, EdgeConneX would help enterprises maximize the benefits, while at the same time minimize the impediments and concerns of using the cloud. With private, dedicated access to leading cloud providers from EdgeConneX data centers via the NetFoundry platform, users would have the peace of mind of a “flexible and high-performance” networking solution.

The first market that this NetFoundry SDN-based interconnection service will be available is in Portland, OR. Further expansion across the EdgeConneX data center network of ‘edge data centers’ is planned for later in the year and in 2019.
