NetHosting, a provider of shared and dedicated hosting located in Orem, Utah, has revamped its shared hosting option to include additional features at almost half the original monthly cost. The hosting product, dubbed Cloud Virtual Hosting equips shared hosting with the advantages of a dedicated hosting environment by isolating each cloud hosting user in their own lightweight virtualized environment.
The cloud hosting package includes a CloudLinux operating system, unlimited domain hosting, file transfer, hosting space, and email accounts.
The innovative CloudLinux operating system would equip the shared virtualized hosting plans with dedicated hosting characteristics. Virtualized solation would protect them from downtime caused by other tenants who max out their own resources. Tenants of previous shared hosting platforms often experienced unpredictable downtime for this reason.
Cheap hosting
“There’s a clear market for extremely low-cost, yet reliable hosting in a shared environment,” said NetHosting CEO Lane Livingston. “This product is tailored for those clients who are sick of the ‘cheap’ alternative. We’re firm believers that cheap hosting doesn’t have to be ‘cheap.’ Most website owners don’t require hosting capabilities beyond a shared environment, but all deserve a reliable, always-available product at a realistic rate.”
NetHosting is part of Fibernet and has been delivering custom hosting solutions for nearly fifteen years. Serving enterprises of every size, its products include a broad range of cloud hosting and storage options as well as dedicated hosting, managed, and virtual hosting services, all housed within a PCI certified data center.
