A new feature set within Parallels PartnerNet lets cloud hosting providers search through APS-certified applications, so they can quickly and easily discover new third-party services to expand their cloud offerings.
The new feature set within Parallels’ PartnerNet is also designed to help Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) manage a company’s profile, and create and manage pages for APS certified applications and solutions. These customizable pages will help ISVs differentiate themselves by including assets such as data sheets, videos and a link to APSstandard.org.
Accelerate cooperation hosting providers
“With this new portal functionality, Parallels is leveraging its already vibrant ecosystem and building a much-needed bridge between cloud ISVs and service providers,” said Philbert Shih, managing director at Structure Research. “It’s a win-win as cloud ISVs are able to showcase their solutions to service providers, and service providers get to search, discover and research third-party solutions they know will integrate because of APS.”

Expanding its commitment to partners, Parallels is creating a new team led by Mark Hindsbo, senior vice president, Customer Success. Hindsbo, formerly vice president of Application Partner & Development Sales Business, at Microsoft, will focus on the success of partners across the entire lifecycle of developing, deploying and managing services.
Jacek Murawski, formerly general manager for Poland at Microsoft, also joins the company as vice president of sales, EMEA, to further accelerate cooperation with hosting providers in that region. Expanding its commitment to support partners and manage incidents across multiple partners, Parallels is also introducing a new multi-party incident management solution, Parallels Support Exchange, enabled by Cisco ServiceGrid, which would help reduce the cost and complexity of service management.
