In response to the growing risks in cloud settings, TD SYNNEX has introduced a new fraud protection solution for small and medium company (SMB) clients that integrates Microsoft Azure cloud services. SMB fraud protection through phishing prevention, proactive warnings, warning signals, and other methods, the SMB Fraud Defense Click-to-Run solution would improve security postures and lower possible risks in day-to-day cloud operations.

By integrating Microsoft Azure Active Directory, which is now a component of Microsoft Entra, the cybersecurity solution would enable enterprises to more effectively manage how users access corporate resources. It also makes it possible for businesses to benefit from Azure’s built-in cost control tools.

Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) provides a cloud-based centralized location for managing user identities, authentication, and authorization for applications and services. Azure AD is integrated with other Azure services, such as Azure AD B2C, Azure AD Domain Services, and Azure AD Identity Protection, to provide a comprehensive solution for managing identities in the cloud. It also supports integration with on-premises Active Directory environments, allowing organizations to use a single identity management solution for both cloud and on-premises resources. Azure AD also offers features such as multi-factor authentication, conditional access policies, and self-service password reset, to help secure access to resources.

“Microsoft offers robust security measures as part of their products. However, this does require specific configuration and management for full effectiveness,” said Ed Morales, Global Vice President of Security and High-Growth Business Development at TD SYNNEX. “To further protect partners and customers against cyber threats, TD SYNNEX developed this simple to deploy pre-configured solution designed for SMB customers to help mitigate fraudulent attacks and elevate their Azure environment security posture. We have created a solution that leverages vendor native tooling to solve a real-world problem leveraging a practical approach equipping partners to provide their SMB customers with the first line of defense.”
