Cloud backup software provider BackupAgent has announced the launch of an integration module for Autotask’s IT Business Management Solution built for managed hosting providers and Enterprise IT Managers. The integration enables joint Autotask and BackupAgent partners to automate billing and optimize the incident management process.

The announcement was made during Autotask’s International user conference, Autotask Community Live in Barcelona, Spain, with BackupAgent being a Gold Sponsor of the event.

The integration was built in collaboration with Autotask and is the deepest integration possible for the Autotask product. The integration features include:

  • An Autotask LiveLink for single-sign-on to the BackupAgent reseller platform.
  • Automated creation of Autotask service desk tickets with detailed logging when a backup is unsuccessful.
  • Automated billing.

“We are incredibly excited with the launch of the integration module,” said Robbert van Geldrop, CTO of BackupAgent. “We are always eager to keep up-to-date with the latest management environments for our MSP partners. We have had a tremendous amount of requests for an Autotask integration module and are delighted we can now satisfy these requests.”
