Web hosting and cloud hosting provider, Canadian Web Hosting, has successfully completed their annual independent audit for SSAE 16 Type II SOC 2. The SSAE 16 SOC 2 audit was completed for the period of February 2015 through January 2016 and the audit applies to Canadian Web Hosting’s entire web service offerings that include dedicated server hosting, cloud hosting, Canadian colocation and web hosting services.
These audits examined Canadian Web Hosting‘s adherence to industry best practices, covering their controls, processes and procedures. The Service Auditors’ Report, with an unqualified opinion, demonstrates that Canadian Web Hosting’s control activities are effectively designed and in operation throughout the reporting period.
Canadian Web Hosting has been audited annually since 2011. Companies that can benefit from the audits are companies where data and security are paramount. Canadian Web Hosting provides their customers with the ability to meet data privacy and web hosting requirements, while also providing a comprehensive compliance program to allow them to meet their own corporate governance requirements, such as PIPEDA.
“By successfully completing the new SSAE 16 SOC 2 audit, we continue to show our commitment to our customers and provide assurance that when they choose Canadian Web Hosting, Canadian Cloud Hosting or EsecureData, they not only get the best technology and support, but repeatable and verifiable processes that exceed industry standards for compliance,” said Matt McKinney, Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) at Canadian Web Hosting. “We are completing our ISO 27001 audit and continue to build a framework for our customers that includes mission critical services built on enterprise-grade infrastructure, industry best SLAs, compliance services, business continuity and cost efficiency while continuing to stay compliant with current standards.”
