Colocation Provider DataSite Adds More Connectivity with Cogent to Orlando Data Center Facility

Data center operator and colocation provider, DataSite, has announced that Cogent Communications will now be delivering service to clients in their DataSite Orlando data center. “Adding Cogent Communications to our carrier mix is a fantastic addition to our current list of service providers,” said Robert Wilson, VP of Sales & Marketing with DataSite. “Cogent provides fantastic economics to clients with high bandwidth requirements.”

Fiber entrances in to the DataSite Orlando data center are buried underground and encased in concrete, preventing network disruptions. Fiber enters the building via two diverse raceways, one to the north of the property while the other leaves the building and heads south to provide separate diverse routs for added redundancy.
