Digital Fortress, a large regional colocation services provider in Seattle, named Kurt Widmann to the newly created position of Vice President of Sales and Marketing. The appointment of Widmann to Digital Fortress’ executive management team would demonstrate the company’s commitment to an aggressive sales and marketing strategy.
In his new role, Widmann will orchestrate the continued expansion and direction of the Digital Fortress brand. This includes envisioning go-to-market strategies, managing a technically strong sales team and overseeing channel partnerships. He reports directly to Digital Fortress’ Chief Executive Officer, Paul Gerrard

Kurt Widmann comes to Digital Fortress with more than 17 years of professional experience including a prior role at Adhost Data Centers where he was Vice President, Sales and Marketing. From Adhost’s beginnings in the Seattle technology market to its tremendous growth and subsequent acquisition by TierPoint Data centers, Kurt was responsible for establishing strong brand awareness and growing enterprise sales focused on colocation, virtualization, cloud hosting and managed hosting service offerings.
