Data center company Cologix has announced the formal public opening of its 20,000 SQF state-of-the-art 905 King Street West data center in downtown Toronto, Canada, which will support colocation and network services for more than 500 cabinets at full capacity.

905 King Street West is Cologix’s second data center in downtown Toronto, complementing its 30,000 SQF presence in the carrier hotel at 151 Front Street West. The existing data center is located 2 km from the new premises and is connected by a newly built diverse metro fiber ring. Cologix now has over a 50,000 SQF footprint in downtown Toronto, further demonstrating the company’s ongoing commitment to meet demand for network neutral colocation in the Canadian data center space.

The new data center is featuring the industry’s highest standards for power redundancy, hot aisle containment and modular in-row cooling fed by a self-contained, building chilled water system. Eight network service providers are already available on site for direct interconnection, with more scheduled for deployment.
