DataSite Hires New Business Development Manager For Its Atlanta Colocation Facility

DataSite, a colocation provider with facilities in Atlanta, Ga, Boise, ID, and Orlando, Fla, has hired colocation industry veteran, Heather Barclay, to join DataSite as Business Development Manager for their Atlanta data center. In her new position, Barclay will lead DataSite’s business development efforts in the Atlanta market and utilize her knowledge of the industry to identify potential targets.

With a 13-year career in the Atlanta technology market, and an extensive background in data center, disaster recovery and IT infrastructure solutions, Barclay was most recently Global Sales Executive for Equinix. Earlier in her career, Barclay also worked for companies like Savvis (CenturyLink) and SunGard Availability Services.

DataSite recently announced the completion of a $12 million upgrade to its Orlando colocation facility including new UPS systems, new generators, new air-cooled chiller plant, 2N electrical support and A/B header system providing 2N level redundancy.
