FullHost Launches Windows Server Hosting in Canada

Canadian web hosting provider, FullHost, has announced the availability of its Windows ready virtual servers and bare metal dedicated servers. The Windows servers are now available through its cloud hosting platform at their data centers in Canada.

Windows and UNIX are the two main types of operating systems (OS) in use for server hosting, the main variant of UNIX being called Linux, which is open source. While Linux can be very flexible, with the proprietary nature of Windows there are certain applications that will not run in a UNIX environment.

The latest Windows Server OS, Windows Server 2016 (Desktop Experience and Core) and 2012 R2 OS are available through FullHost’s cloud hosting platform at their data centers in Canada.

For ease of access, FullHost includes an administrator-level login, remote desktop access, which is a necessity for accessing the Windows server remotely, ensuring full control over the server and allowing the installation of applications and services through the remote desktop access.

From their headquarters in Victoria BC and their data centers in Vancouver and Toronto, FullHost provides Canadian customers from coast to coast with a wide array of web hosting options – from shared web hosting and reseller hosting services, to virtual server cloud and bare metal dedicated servers.
