U.S. colocation provider 365 Data Centers has announced that Indiana Fiber Network, a leading Indiana statewide Network Service Provider has established a point-of-presence (PoP) in its Indianapolis data center.
The new PoP would expand cloud connectivity options and provide peering access to the Midwest Internet Exchange (MidWest-IX).
“This point-of-presence (PoP) is great news for our customers because they now have access to 365 Data Centers’ secure, reliable and compliant colocation solutions,” said August Zehner, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Indiana Fiber Network. “They can leverage carrier neutral connectivity to any of the 12 providers currently in this facility and peering through the MidWest-IX, where they can reduce the costs associated with moving Internet traffic.”
365 Data Centers currently operates 11 data centers in the United States. Indiana Fiber Network offers data center, Internet backbone and data transport services over Ethernet, CDWM, DWDM and SONET fiber networks, with service in the state of Indiana and throughout the US via a network of national carrier partners.
