Media Temple Adds New Features to Its Managed WordPress Hosting

Two months after launching its “Premium WordPress Hosting” product, Los Angeles-based web hosting provider Media Temple has announced that new features as well as a unique WordPress theme are added to its managed WordPress hosting platform.

wordpress-hostingWith Media Temple’s “Premium WordPress Hosting” product, users now have more options for data restoration and can choose a snapshot from one of the backups made during the previous 30 days. New premium features also include remote server access via SSH for enhanced security and GIT integration, which adds the ability for developers to make version control possible.

“We have been using feedback and specific requests from our customers combined with inputs from the WordPress community to identify which new features we should add to our Premium WordPress Hosting product”, said Dante Baker, Shared Services Product Manager at Media Temple.

WP-CLI integration will also be available and will allow using management commands from a shell. Additionally, the web hosting provider is unveiling a new, fully responsive WordPress theme, exclusively designed for Premium WordPress Hosting users and, in particular, for busy photographers who want to quickly publish a portfolio.

GoDaddy

Media Temple, who currently hosts more than 300,000 WordPress sites, also provides a concierge site migration service for WordPress users interested in moving their site to the company’s managed WordPress platform.
