QTS Unveils Enterprise Cloud Service in Dallas-Fort Worth Mega Data Center

QTS Realty Trust, an international provider of data center, managed hosting and cloud services, has announced availability of its highly scalable and secured Enterprise Cloud service in the QTS Dallas-Fort Worth mega data center.

Previously, the enterprise-grade cloud service was available exclusively in the QTS Atlanta-Suwanee and QTS Santa Clara data centers. With the addition of this service in the Dallas-Fort Worth location, QTS customers gain additional geographic diversity and redundancy options.

Built upon best-of-breed technologies from VMware, EMC and Cisco, QTS Enterprise Cloud would be a flexible IaaS platform, with enterprise-grade security measures and an array of features including virtual data centers (vDC), self-management interfaces, on-line software catalogs, performance-based storage, efficient resource utilization and hybrid connectivity. The QTS Enterprise Cloud is Cisco-certified.

Following are QTS Enterprise Cloud-enabled campus locations:

  • QTS Atlanta-Suwanee – 370,000 square feet of data center and office space in the north suburbs of Atlanta, the QTS Atlanta-Suwanee Data Center is home to some of QTS’ largest customers. This site has 185,000 square feet of raised floor and provides infrastructure for each core data center service and hosts QTS’ National Operations Service Center, providing 24x7x365 monitoring and support.
  • QTS Dallas-Fort Worth – 700,000 square foot facility with the capacity to increase by 600,000 square feet for a total of 1.3 million. The facility can support 290,000 square feet of raised floor and is structurally reinforced and built with 90′ subterranean concrete piers that isolate the building from movement. 24x7x365 monitoring provides continuous protection.
  • QTS Santa Clara – 135,000 square foot campus with two distinct data buildings, and 55,000 square feet of raised floor. The campus also offers office and conference rooms, as well as 24x7x365 monitoring and support for data center customers.
