RagingWire Data Centers, a U.S. data center provider and an NTT Communications group company, has announced that Phillip Sandino was named the company’s new vice president of data center operations. Mr. Sandino will be responsible for end-to-end operations of all RagingWire data center facilities including colocation data center campuses in Ashburn, Va., Sacramento, Calif., and Dallas, Texas, as well as future builds in top North American markets.
Phillip Sandino’s responsibilities will include critical facilities operations, commissioning, infrastructure service delivery, security, and safety on a corporate level.

Before joining RagingWire, Mr. Sandino worked at Dominion and Dominion Virginia Power for 13 years in various operations roles serving data centers, mass transit projects, and large public and private entities in the greater Washington DC area. He began as an operations manager and was quickly promoted several times to increasingly larger director roles in operations and customer solutions. Prior to Dominion, Sandino was an operations supervisor at NRG Energy and a commercial program manager for GE Energy.

Mr. Sandino holds an MBA in Strategy and Information and Operations Management from the University of Southern California – Marshall School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Texas Tech University. Sandino is a U.S. Navy veteran and is fluent in English and Spanish.
