StorageCraft Technology, a global provider of backup and disaster recovery software and cloud services, has chosen colocation data center provider Interxion to provide their data center services in Ireland and across Europe.
StorageCraft helps companies all over the world meet business continuity objectives. Thanks to Interxion, these solutions will now be available in Europe for SME’s and larger businesses through their European headquarters in Cork. This initial partnership is expected to grow significantly with increased demand in the next 24 months.
Interxion’s strategic locations across Europe, and in particular in Ireland and Frankfurt, were a key factor to the winning of the StorageCraft contract with proximity being a crucial deciding element.
Interxion was selected by StorageCraft’s as their preferred data center supplier for a number of reasons, including its ability to remain flexible and deploy a wide variety of solutions that cater to needs of businesses, small or large. StorageCraft Technology will now be operating their cloud services for European customers through Interxion’s data centers.
“When partnering with a data center service provider, proximity and comprehensive critical deployment solutions were key elements,” said Manuel Nadal, StorageCraft’s director of sales in Europe. “Interxion really understood our business, how we want to grow, and how their services can assist us as we roll out new products and services in this part of the world. We’re excited to be working with Interxion in the European market.”
As a provider of carrier and cloud-neutral colocation data center services in Europe, Interxion serves a wide range of customers through its 41 data centers in 11 European countries. The company also created connectivity, cloud, content and finance hubs that foster growing customer communities of interest.
“Ireland’s geographical location as a stepping stone into continental Europe makes it an ideal location for companies, like StorageCraft, to establish a pan-European base,” said Karl Mulhall, Managing Director of Interxion Ireland. “We’re looking forward to working with StorageCraft during this exciting time of development as they continue to grow.”
