XO Communications Establishes PoP in vXchnge Data Center in Philadelphia

XO Communications (XO), owner and operator of one of the largest IP and Ethernet networks in the Unites States, has established a point of presence (PoP) in vXchnge’s Philadelphia colocation data center. XO now has connections in ten vXchnge data centers located across the United States.

The new connection is part of the XO strategy to further expand its network reach across the U.S. XO Communications would provide vXchnge enterprise and service provider customers with “cost-effective” access to its national IP and Ethernet network, enabling bandwidth on demand connections to locations and cloud resources around the world.
