Belgium-based satellite service provider neXat, powered by SatADSL, will interconnect its three global PoPs – based in Brussels, Orlando and Singapore – to the Eutelsat ADVANCE global network. Eutelsat’s PoPs are located in Paris, New York and Singapore.
This new cooperation allows neXat to access the complete fleet of the Eutelsat ADVANCE network and its controlled array of connectivity services without having to establish separate connections to specific teleports and hubs throughout the world. For service providers linked to the platform, this would imply greater choice, flexibility, and time-to-market.
“This is a truly significant step for the neXat platform in our journey towards establishing ‘The Network of satellite networks’,” said Michel Dothey, co-founder and Chief Operating Officer (COO) at neXat. “It increases the ability for our clients to buy and resell satellite capacity via the neXat’s e-Marketplace, while providing better access to the value-added services provided by our platform. Thanks to the interconnection of our networks, we can now deploy any new connection on Eutelsat satellites very easily and quickly.”
Platform as a Service
“Building on our strong relationship with Eutelsat, which has already connected some of its beams to our platform, this new initiative will bring benefits not only to our respective companies, but also to the many ISPs and connectivity providers across the world who need reliable, affordable and widely available satellite services,” added Mr. Dothey.
neXat is a capacity aggregation platform that connects teleport and hub operators with the marketplace. It provides its partners with access to a global network of resellers and operates as a Platform as a Service (PaaS) that provides a comprehensive set of value-added services.
neXat is a satellite service provider based in Brussels, Belgium, that provides innovative solutions to satellite operators, teleport and hub operators, government and business entities, and ISPs all over the world.
The company delivers a satellite aggregation system while working as a capacity broker linking teleports with new clients and markets via its flagship platform. neXat is active in 50 countries and connects to more than 15 teleports and 25 satellites (formerly known as C-SDP).
neXat’s PaaS solution is a virtual OSS/BSS that enables teleport and hub operators to offer the complete spectrum of neXat’s value added services to their own clients, as well as traditional and bundled connectivity services via its network of ISPs or directly to end users. It is available in Ku, Ka, and C Band and is equipment agnostic.
