Nimble Storage Surpasses 5,000 Customer Mark

Just four and a half years after shipping its first Adaptive Flash platform, flash storage solutions company Nimble Storage (NYSE: NMBL), has announced that more than 5,000 customers worldwide have adopted the storage solution. The Nimble Adaptive Flash platform would continue to gain significant traction with enterprise customers and cloud hosting service providers.

nimble-storageIn the first half of 2014, Nimble Storage introduced its high-end CS700 platform and All Flash Shelf as part of the Adaptive Flash platform, effectively addressing all-flash workloads as well as petabyte-scale deployments within a single platform.

In the second half of the year, the company refreshed its entire platform portfolio to increase price-performance. The most significant advance in product innovation came with the early release of Fiber Channel functionality across the CS-Series arrays enabling Nimble to address enterprise-wide storage requirements and quadruple the addressable market the company is able to serve.

Nimble Storage’s cloud hosting service provider customers include SingleHop, Xtium, Avanade, and BlueTie. Enterprise customers include Target Commercial Interiors, National Information Solutions Cooperative, CareOregon, LANDESK, Gorkana Group, National Cable Communications, Deltek, Grant Street Group, Kern Health Systems, Energy Information Administration, HeliMods, and Queensland Sugar Limited.
