DigiPlex, a company designing, building and operating sustainable and secured colocation data centers across the Nordics, including edge locations in Oslo, Stockholm and Copenhagen, has appointed Wiljar Nesse as new Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective March 1, 2020.
Wiljar Nesse recently served as Executive Vice President Financial Services at TietoEVRY. Mr. Nesse was previously Executive Vice President Financial Services at EVRY as well as EDB ErgoGroup/EDB. He has also worked at Elkem and AP Dow Jones, and as CEO and part owner of Manamind AS.
Wiljar Nesse succeeds Gisle M. Eckhoff, who after 5 successful years will retire from his role as CEO but will remain with the company as an advisor to the Board.

‘Booming Data Center Industry’
Wiljar Nesse is a board member of the trade and employer’s association Abelia and a selected member of The Confederation of Norwegian Enterprise (NHO) panel for future business and industry in Norway. He has studied at the Norwegian School of Economics and Karlsruhe Institute of Technology.
