NTT Communications Corporation (NTT Com) has announced the deployment of managed private cloud solutions to Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) and NTT Com customers in the United States. Joint customers in the United States are able to buy NTT Com’s Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) portfolio solutions.
These customer-centric cloud solutions are designed to drive positive business outcomes for medium to large enterprises in the United States in vertical industries such as healthcare, finance, media, retail and manufacturing.
NTT Com is one of HPE’s first service provider partners capable of providing managed private cloud environments using the new HPE Helion CloudSystem. Together with NTT Com’s Enterprise Cloud, NTT Com and HPE support customers as they transition their mission-critical systems from on-premises to cloud environments, and give customers technology options built on open source centric solutions, such as OpenStack and Cloud Foundry, in addition to VMware vSphere and Microsoft Hyper-V.
The pairing of HPE with NTT Com would deliver one of the most technologically advanced cloud portfolios available, meeting customers’ goals to achieve strong ROI by moving to an asset-light IT model.
“NTT Com’s strategy that embraces new and open technologies to provide flexible, innovative and forward thinking solutions, is a natural fit for the Hewlett Packard Enterprise customers – and the latest Helion CloudSystem,” said Steve Dietch, Vice President, Worldwide Service Provider Business, Hewlett Packard Enterprise.
“NTT Com’s breakthrough architecture, with Helion CloudSystem at its core, gives our customers a resilient, easy-to-manage virtualized IaaS platform solution.”
