NTT Communications, the ICT solutions and international communications business within NTT (NYSE: NTT), has announced that its managed services business unit, Atlas IT, will change its name to NTT Com Managed Services from the 1st of April.
NTT Com intends to develop a strong global leadership position in managed network, infrastructure and applications services to augment its network, data center and cloud services. Atlas IT, a 100% subsidiary of NTT Communications has 70+ engineers available across multiple technologies.
“With the financial support of NTT Com we believe the new NTT Com Managed Services business will help us realize our ambition to be a global leader in managed networks, infrastructure and application management,” said Shigeru Kitabatake SVP Managed Services.
NTT Communications provides consultancy, architecture, security and cloud services to optimize the ICT environments of enterprises. These offerings are backed by the company’s worldwide infrastructure, including its global tier-1 IP network, the Arcstar Universal One VPN network reaching 196 countries/regions, and 140 secured data centers worldwide.
